A Career as an Open Source Developer

Thoughts during that about leaving my last company, opening my new one, the things I want to work on, and the way I want to work. How do I get 50% or more of my week funded to work on open source? Hint: it’s not easy, and a lot of work went in over the years to get this far.

An Introduction To Services In Drupal

Services are what powers Drupal and knowing how services are used and how to make use of them will elevate your Drupal skills.
In this session we will look at what services are, how to use them and how to create your own services. We will then go through examples of services in action, including how to use them in tests and how to create API stub modules.
This session will assume some knowledge of PHP, but all source code and materials will be available for you to look at in your own time.
